| Wednesday, 24 June - The Desert: To Flower or Preserve?

Take a nature walk through Ein Avdat Nature Reserve to the waterfall
pool, with an option to continue on a more challenging hike up through
the canyon. Pay homage at the graves of David and Paula Ben Gurion,
overlooking the desert views of Nahal Tzin. Enjoy a camel trek
through the Negev Desert followed by a delicious dinner in a Bedouin
tent at Mamsheet.

Early departure to ascend Masada by the Roman Ramp (cable car
option available for those who need it). Tour this impressive excavation

hotel, enjoying its spa facilities, lunch, and the amazing Dead Sea

Stumble across many archeological finds as you take part in a handson
dig through archeological matter that has been dumped into Emek
Tzurim from under the Temple Mount. In the Kotel Tunnels, walk
alongside the massive foundation stones of the Western Wall
Explore the Southern Wall Excavations and take a virtual, computerized
"walk" through the ancient Temple Mount at the Davidson Center
Take part in "Roving the Rova," Ramah's interactive family game that
explores the Jewish Quarter, primarily of the 19th century. (There is
also an adults version) Depart for a bus tour through the modern city
of Modi'in, followed by an evening program and dinner at Kehillat
Yozma in Modi'in -

institutions in the New City. Visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum and
other exhibits at Yad Vashem; alternative Ramah program for children
on site. At Har Herzl Military Cemetery encounter the "silver platter"
on which the Jewish people have acquired - and continue to acquire -
