Wednesday August 19 - Depart USA for an overnight to Israel
The trip will begin on Thursday morning, August 20, with the bus leaving from Ben Gurion airport at 10am. Those arriving that morning should arrange to land no later than 9:15. The trip will end Thursday evening, August 27; people leaving at that time should arrange for flights departing no earlier than 11pm. Those needing accommodations prior to or following the program should contact ITC in advance.  
 
Thursday, August 20 - I Rosh Hodesh Elul
"When You Come Into the Land" (Dev. 26:1) Meet your Ramah-ITC guide at Ben Gurion airport 10:00am - bus departs Ben Gurion Airport (arrangement can be made if you are arriving on other flight extra charge will apply for transfer) Tree-Planting and opening ceremony in the area of Modiin. Break for lunch (at participants' expense) Discover ancient artifacts and gain a perspective on the world of archaeology by participating in an actual archeological dig at Tel Maresha/Bet Guvrin. Ascend to Jerusalem for a Shehehiyanu blessing at an overview of the Old City Check-in to the hotel; Group Dinner and Orientation Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Jerusalem [D]  
Friday, August 21 - II Rosh Hodesh Elul
Jerusalem in Her Glory: The Second Temple Period Rosh Hodesh services at the "Kotel Masorti" - the section of the Western Wall where Conservative Jews can pray in the manner in which they are accustomed . Option of Bar/Bat Mitzva ceremony. Tour Robinson's Arch, the Southern Wall Excavations and experience the virtual model of the Second Temple at the Davidson Center. Visit the Kotel (Western Wall) Plaza; time for reflection. Free for lunch (at participants' expense) & shopping in the Jewish Quarter. Optional bus transportation back to the hotel for time to rest or swim. " Return to the Old City for Kabbalat Shabbat and a special visit to Kotel . Walk back to hotel for Group Dinner and Oneg Shabbat. Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Jerusalem [B,D]  
Shabbat, August 22 - Parashat Shoftim; Shabbat in Jerusalem
Shabbat services at a choice of neighborhood synagogues (an annotated list and walking directions will be provided) Optional walking tour of Migdal David - the Tower of David Museum of the History of Jerusalem - to explore 3000 years of the Capital's history. Group Shabbat lunch at the hotel shabbat rest with special activities for children; the hotel swimming pool is available. Enjoy a walking tour of some of the first neighborhoods of the New City of Jerusalem Havdalah and free evening in Jerusalem Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Jerusalem [B,L]  
Sunday, August 23 -Martyrs and Heroes
Visit the workshops of Yad Lekashish - Lifeline for the Elderly - and shop in their multifaceted gift shop. Visit the Memorial Museum, Children's Memorial, and other exhibits at Yad Vashem (special program for children 6-12 at Yad Vashem) Lunch on one's own - At Har (Mt.) Herzl visit the graves of the people who gave up their lives for the creation and defense of the State of Israel., Free for dinner Special Evening tour of the Kotel (Western Wall) Tunnels Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Jerusalem [B]  
Monday, August 24 - Masada: Ultimate Choices
Early morning drive to the Dead Sea. Climb Masada (option of walking up the Snake Path or taking the cable car). Participate in a special prayer service on top of Masada Option of Bar/Bat Mitzva ceremony Enjoy a family activity tour on top of Masada; descend via cable car. Enjoy spa facilities, lunch (provided), and a dip in the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem - Dinner on own; free evening Overnight: Dan Panorama Hotel, Jerusalem [B,L]  
Tuesday, August 25 - 100 Years of Tel Aviv
Depart Jerusalem for Tel Aviv Relive the historic moment when Israel was proclaimed a state at Independence Hall in Tel Aviv. Lunch break and time to shop at arts & crafts fair in the Tel Aviv neighborhood of Nahalat Binyamin. Swim in the Mediterranean Sea Drive to the North. Wednesday, August 26 - Mountain Tops and Mystics
"The Eyes of the Nation" Zfat: tour the synagogues, courtyards, and shops of this mystical city. Free time for lunch Drive to the Golan Heights Golan overviews - see the Hula Valley to the west the way that the Syrians did up until 1967. Put on your life vests and take oars in hand as you glide down the Jordan river in kayaks and rafts Free evening with dinner on own in Tiberias Overnight: Nof Ginosar Kibbutz Guest House [B]  
Thursday, August 27 - "Was it Real … or Merely a Dream?"
With the songs of Rahel and the music of Naomi Shemer, visit the Kinneret Courtyard and Cemetery. Travel to the Bet Shean valley. Through a charming multi-media presentation at the ancient Bet Alpha Synagogue, learn about Jewish life in the north of Israel in the 5th-6th centuries CE. Visit the "Garden of Eden", the Sachneh (Gan Hashlosha), for a swim in natural pools at the foot of Mt. Gilboa; opportunity to shower and change clothes. Reflection Session and Evaluation Farewell Group Dinner. Transfer to Ben Gurion airport (those who want to fly this night can arrange to leave starting at 11:30pm and on.
