At Independence Hall, relive Ben Gurion's moving declaration
of the State. Learn of the bravery and ingenuity of pre-state

presentation of the amazing achievements of the Palmach at
the multi-media Palmach Museum (if available) Free evening in

| Monday, 9 November - Layers of History
|
Visit the wonderful excavations of ancient Caesaria, including
an impressive amphitheatre and aqueduct and the newly-opened
multi-media center, where ancient history comes to life
Proceed to the Galilee Region. Tour the courtyards, synagogues
and shops of the mystical city of Tzefat, including free time
for shopping. Enjoy a Kinneret boat ride and lakeshore dinner
at Deck's Restaurant.

| Tuesday, 10 November - The Golan Heights
|
Travel to the Golan Heights and stop to gaze down over the
Galilee as the Syrians once did. Learn about the history of the
Golan Heights and the valiant story of Gamla, called the
"Masada of the North," at the lovely Golan Antiquities
Museum. Taste the fruits of the region in the form of awardwinning
wines at the Golan Winery. Travel south along Israel's
border with Jordan for the ascent to Jerusalem. Take in a
breathtaking view of the Old City of Jerusalem from the
Mount of Olives. Hotel check-in, followed by a free evening in
Jerusalem.

In the Kotel Tunnels, walk alongside the Kotel's massive foundation
stones. Explore the Southern Wall Excavations and take

Cardo. Travel through many centuries as you tour the Jewish
Quarter of Jerusalem, including entrance to the Herodian
