Tuesday, 13 October - Foundations of the Modern State
At Independence Hall, relive Ben Gurion's moving declaration of the State. Enjoy an impressive presentation of the amazing achievements of the Palmach at the recently opened multi-media Palmach Museum (if available). Browse through unique craft items in Nahalat Binyamin's colorful, open-air market, and see modern Tel Aviv in action (time permitting). At the "Dig for a Day" program at Beit Guvrin, have a hands-on experience of archeology as you uncover actual artifacts while taking part in an actual archeological dig; "cave crawl" also available for the adventurous. Wednesday, 14 October - Layers of History
Depart for Israel's north. Visit the wonderful excavations of ancient Caesaria, including an impressive amphitheatre and aqueduct and the newly-opened multi-media center, where ancient history comes to life. Meet members of Israel's Druze community in Ossafiya, hear about their fierce patriotism, and enjoy their warm hospitality for lunch. Take a panoramic bus tour of Haifa, including views of the Bahai Gardens. Enjoy a delicious lakeshore dinner at Decks (steak)

Thursday, 15 October - Tzefat and the Golan Heights
